This was good and bad. Bad because I missed a day - and it was Lure Coursing - a past favorite of mine, but good as it was a horribly rainy & windy day - which I got to enjoy indoors. Hah!

Crema wasn’t feeling well - GI upset - so Judi (J’s co-pilot) stayed home with her, Opa!, & me. I appreciated that far more than being cooped up in the van.

Spec got either NBQ or 6th in the Open Stakes. - not bad as it was a BIG Stakes & all scores were pretty close. The Field Ch Stakes wasn’t as big, but the scores were also super close - Possum, Phyn, & Conner all tied for 6th - and NOT last.

The winner was our friend, Guinness!. I spent the day with Rob instead of joining them. Unlike yesterday it was a nice day. A hound named Ollie won; followed by so many of our pals that I made J just attach a photo of the finish. Spec ran best for us. Conner brought home Best Veteran; that was a shocker.

Tomorrow is the last day. This makes me les cranky.

2) Silly Spec, the SpecTaterTot got ranked highest in conformation for the Golden State Triathlon & Pentathlon Awards. We’ll see where things go from there as these events continue over the next few days. LOL - Phyn was last. That cracks me up; he can be such a “Look at me! Aren’t I handsome ?” Houndie. Possum was only a few spots up from him. Conner was ranked, roughly in the middle; he seemed back to normal from Friday’s embarrassment.

3) The BIGGEST news: PNW Sundance pup, Pip, who now lives in California won BIG. Best in Specialty Show! That’s fun not only because she’s from Oregon & a friend’s kennel, but also because she is a survivor. It seems like just yesterday we followed on her literal journey of treatment & recovery.

This warms even my SmartAssB!tch heart.

J should have taken her photo; you’ll have to settle for one of me.

Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-43258930246878017402023-03-18T04:03:00.003-07:002023-03-18T04:03:41.963-07:00SF2023: A Frustrating Day (yesterday)
OK - I didn’t post yesterday. IMO yesterday sucked. Yes, I’m BITCHIN’, but I AM The SmartAssBitch. I can do that.

I was supposed to have the day off, but didn’t. I thought a veteran Bitches would follow Bitches on Saturday, but they had us follow Veteran Males today, at the end of the day. That sucked for me. I had needed a day off. I lost to Sienna. Sure, she is a nice bitch, but I didn’t have a shot without my expected day off. Grr … J should have realized this ages ago; then I might have been prepared & in my zone, rather than out of it. Bitch.

As far as the boys are concerned - no one won diddley-squat. Well, OK, Spec got 4th in the big Open class. And Conner … well …. he somehow did do well.

Conner can be a snarky-ass. He really did kind of try to bite the judge last time he showed, and I don’t think the judge deserved it. Anyhow -

J doped him up with a sedative to ensure he wouldn’t react poorly to the highly respected AKC judge. OMG. I mean these are drugs he has a prescription for … and it’s not like they are narcotics but GEEZUZ - he was doped. J should have tried the combination of Trazadone with his usual Gabapentin ahead of time. Maybe give him either the higher Gabapentin dose OR the Trazadone, but not BOTH. He was SO out-of-it. He perked up a bit when J offered him cheese, but he was schnockered. On the positive, he is a handsome boy and managed to move well, and not get tossed out of the ring: ALTERED BEST OPPOSITE SEX. Miracles can happen.

Sorry no pics today/yesterday. I am not in the mood.
Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-74237125173445336982023-03-16T22:54:00.001-07:002023-03-16T22:54:41.644-07:00SF2023: Let The Games Begin
Well, everyone is pooped. It was a long day for The InPhenite Hounds & ‘handler’ J. From getting set up in the morning, through Rally & Obedience events as well as SPOT-ON, through health testing, to the Puppy & Veteran Sweepstakes, and finally to a seminar on canine cardiac disease by the Sweeps judge & veterinarian, Danielle Steenkamp, it was a very busy day.

J had her hands full with the boys in Rally-O & Obedience. All 4 were entered in Rally-O, and all but Conner were entered in Pre-Novice Obedience. J has not been doing as much training for this as she had when Conner & I were competing, and it shows, but everyone managed to come away with something. On the down side, Possum got off to a grand start by pooping in the ring in Rally, Spec failed to qualify in both SPOT-ON & Obedience due to peeing in the ring. In his defense other dogs had marked in one spot, which makes it very tempting, but still ...

Happily as I alluded to above, the day was not a complete loss. Both Spec & Phyn managed to Q (earn a qualifying score) in their RO1B class. Phyn managed 4th; & Spec 1st! I didn’t think he had that many brain cells.

Conner had a close call in his RO1C class; He’d been doing well before getting distracted & wound up by someone & their Shepherd outside the ring - but with much effort & reassurance, J was able to get his focus back. He Q’d &, as the only class entry, got a 1st place ribbon.

In Pre-Novice Obedience, Possum managed to redeem himself by earning a Q. There was much rejoicing. Neither Phyn nor Spec managed an Onedience Q; I think their brains were fried by that point.

In the Puppy Sweeps, Crema showed OK, but her friend Clara won her class & went on to win Best Opposite Sex puppy in Sweeps. In Veteran Sweeps, I won my class, but our friend Winsome’s Peppermint Patty won Veteran Bitch.

Tomorrow is a day off for me; that’s good. Being 13 is exhausting.

Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-82734827297977146302023-03-15T21:39:00.000-07:002023-03-15T21:39:08.437-07:00SF2023: Smooth Travels

Today was a much less dramatic day than yesterday. The interstate was almost clear of snow/slush before we hit the road at 9. There wasn’t any significant snow on the roads at all except when we stopped at our friends’ place in Mt Shasta. There was still a good layer of well-packed snow on the streets- but the Sprinters had no problems on it. Stopping there allowed us to stretch our legs & take care of business with decent privacy.

The AirBnB in Sacramento is pretty sweet - it’s got a small fenced yard which is awesome. And the sofa is a decent spot for snuggling or just chilling. Possum & I approve, but geezuz, he is ridiculous. I must try to be patient.

Anyway, tomorrow it all begins Rally & Obedience, followed by the Sweepstakes. This works for me, Rob is kind of my minion. Anyway …

We hit the road before noon - planning to hit the passes when the weather should be warmest, and all seemed to be going well or well-ish, despite increasingly dark skys and snowy slush beginning to accumulate…. Until we came to a grinding halt. Literally HALT. I’d say “until the sh!t hit the fan” but such language could get me censored .

Anyhow apparently the interstate was shut down due to a wreck 9 miles ahead of where J’s van was. We were several miles behind. She told us to get off the interstate as they were 100% at a standstill. Ultimately they BACKED DOWN THE LEFT SHOULDER to a HWY patrol crossover between directions - did a 3 point turn (I am proud of J’s driving prowess there, but don’t tell her) to cross & head back north to an exit with services. We met them there.

Rob was cool. & quickly got us out to walk, but it was cold, snowy, and slushy. He could tell I was not impressed & let me back in the van. After an HOUR of weather %& road closure reviews. J sloshed to a couple nearby hotels to check availability & pet friendliness. We spent the night in a nice Best Western in Ashland, OR.

Apparently the Allagante team also got turned back by the accident. They camped at an RV park at another exit up the road. A pack from WildRose & Amethyst traveling together we’re just ahead of the wreck & made it to CA, but had lots of snow & ice to contend with.

Funny aside - while walking Crema, J met Poppy, a Starfyre pup, who was traveling south with her owners to Silkenfest. This had been a planned stop for them on their trip from BC. Good thing as they’d have been stuck here anyway.
Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-35671835892416839212022-06-13T20:24:00.003-07:002022-06-14T05:05:09.391-07:00Some Like it Hot?
Well, some may like it hot, but not this hot. J hardly took me out of the RV at all, but I’m OK with that. She ran Spec in ASFA Singles today but opted not to run Possum or Phyn in ASFA FCh today, too, which was both odd & not - because ASFA is our favorite event, but those last 2 have been running like idiots. Honestly, I try to tell Possum & Phyn how to play the game ‘properly’ or ‘improperly’ or ‘with style’ (imo), but neither has my panache. Sp3c actually ran quite well, shocker!

Due to the extreme heat, the event was halted before Finals; but -on the positive side- awards were given based the Prelims. That gave Spec the High Score Singles win. I’m including the pic, but the TaterTot has a habit of getting bad photos.

That was all Monday, today was supposed to be NOTRA Oval Racing. For better or worse that was canceled due to the National Weather Service Heat Advisory. I’m OK with that. I’ve always thought running in circles was stupid; I KNOW where the lure is going. Why run around? It’s easier to cut across.

Oh, well. Keith & J are getting ready to pack up & start the long journey home.
Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-18563252375753604552022-06-12T18:37:00.001-07:002022-06-12T18:37:44.047-07:002 Days of Nothing

Sorry, Fans, about not having a post yesterday:

J is my scribe; she was busy with show shit & banquet shit. Like my shit doesn’t matter?

This post will be short & sweet. I’ve been cooped up in the RV (or crated at the show) doing nothing.

My events ended on Friday. Saturday I did get to see a couple of my Veteran hound friends, Orchid & Hermes, earn Best of Breed & Best Opposite Sex at the Nationals. That was pretty cool. But

after that J was off to set up for that Silent Auction at the Banquet, then AT the Banquet. More boredom.

Today was just as bad. I was in the RV ALL DAY with Sonnet, Khan, Ducati, and Viking while the others were racing. Apparently it was super hot out- so we got to stay cool, at least, but BORING. Spec ran best placing 9th out of almost 50 hounds. Possum was 19th - meh. Phyn was a dope. J scratched him because he was too flirty with the bitches; she feared he’d get himself DQ’d.

Tomorrow is supposed to be Lure Coursing, but it is supposed to be even hotter. There is some discussion it could be canceled … we’ll see.
Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-30362942150278753012022-06-10T16:12:00.003-07:002022-06-10T16:12:54.552-07:00Good & Bad

Today was a mixed day. Everyone is exhausted even though the judge, Dr. Broadway, was efficient & finished early (but he often did make us run around twice). I’ll start with the bad - which has nothing to do with the show.

My friend Kira died last night. This is quite a shock. She was younger than me, and I knew her almost her whole life. I’ll miss competing against her in Altereds at NWFest. My deepest condolences to her humans.

Back to not great (though not devastating) SF show details: Possum got nothing in Bred ByExhibitor this year. Phyn got 4th in Field. champion class, But there were only 4 dogs. That means LAST.

Spec actually did well somehow despite his wiggling - 2nd in a big Open class 14-16 hounds.

I did better (of course). At 13y I wasn’t swift, but I moved well, I guess. The judge awarded me Best Opposite Sex. I was surprised to have beaten Fenwick. Now J is being super-irritating - trying to take my photo with the ribbon.

Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-69404469754021967442022-06-09T19:13:00.002-07:002022-06-09T19:13:31.862-07:00Rally, Obedience, & Veterans.

Well, today was a long day. Rally & Obedience to start followed by Puppy & Veterans Sweepstakes. It was not my day - not InPhenite’s day, for that matter. The boys (Spec, Possum, & Phyn) are kind of idiots, and J looked ridiculous begging them to sit. Possum was so zoned out that she scratched him from Obedience all together. Spec did best, I guess, but he tried to leap up and hug the judge when supposed to ‘sit for exam’ (just a head pat, ffs, but he couldn’t keep his juvenile paws on the ground). Critics might point out that I also failed to get a qualifying score, but I’m 13 & retired. It’s not like we’ve been doing training or anything.

I did better in the Veteran’s Sweepstakes. Best 13+ bitch. But the judge failed to appreciate fully my ‘je ne said quoi’, and that was that.

Tomorrow is another day.

I am sure some want me to report all the wins, but it’s late; I was crated & missed much of the classes, and J left the program by our set up. Sorry, I am sure someone will.
Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-3298171338350745792022-06-08T13:23:00.001-07:002022-06-08T13:23:51.316-07:00Happy Birthday! & Welcome to Purina

Happy Birthday to me. I am 13 years old today. Have a glass of Champagne in my honor.

J did give me some special cookies, but I’d kind of like steak. And she made me ride in a crate - not seat belted. Possum was unhappy, so she let him ride by her. Ahem …. That made me more than unhappy. B!tch.

When we finally got to Purina, some Saluki’s Sprinter was parked in our RV site. It’s a PRIME spot - nearest the facility, not far from an off leash pen, and on an edge with grass. So that was a pain & delayed our getting parked & settled. Keith is doing this while J went to Francie’s talk.

J must be trying to make it up to me; she snuck me in with her. ‘Snuck’ because no dogs are suppose to be in the conference rooms; it is nice to nap in the air conditioned room and on carpet not concrete; however, I’m getting bored. (J is not).. This morning one windshield wiper had a screw loose (literally). As it was raining this needed to be fixed before we started or that wiper blade would have gone flying. He didn’t have exactly the right parts but improvised & fixed it. J was useless through all of this, of course. Then it stopped raining, so we didn’t need it; but it’s best to be prepared.

Other than that mild excitement, today is much like yesterday. Boring & a bit bumpy - bumpier today because we spent sometime on state highways going south. None of the younger dogs (Viking, Guinness, Ducati, or Spec) puked. Thank Dog.

Last night we ran into some other Silken folk. Not literally: we stayed at the same KOA. It was late so no communal zoomies happened even though there was a nice off leash area. They are powering through to Purina Farms tonight. J is being a lightweight. We are stopping early & will have a short drive tomorrow. Honestly that’s not like her.
Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-48151455715308079922022-06-06T19:47:00.003-07:002022-06-06T19:48:05.142-07:00KOA or Bust

This morning we ditched Rob to team up with Keith. Blame J; she’s my scribe & should have reminded me. The Possum, monster Phyn, and Spec, aka SpecTaterTot or just Tater. She says she didn’t ‘forget them’, but they didn’t make it into the van or she can’t figure out where Rob put them. Yes, he’s with us, too, but they were in a black bag. Most things are in black bags.

Gotta run. That means we have hit the road. Today was a bit of a cluster (f!) with J & Rob packing his Sprinter.

HIS Sprinter. We are not in Ivan the InPhenite Sprinter. Ours is a 2 Sprinter family. Rob’s is more streamlined; he customized it himself. He is handy that way. J’s is a tiny RV. It came that way. She is definitely NOT handy like Rob.

Anyway we are in Rob’s van. It doesn’t have a name. He added crates & strapped them down. This sucks. I am having to share with Phyn. He’s huge and can’t curl up as small as I’d like. I would have had my own crate in Ivan or maybe gotten to sit in a seat (with a seat-belted harness, of course.)

J better have remembered to have moved our dog gear from Ivan. I bet she forgot something imported. IMO she was scatter-brained, had trouble finishing tasks & getting stuff organized, and is likely to have forgotten something.

And she’s a dope who can’t figure out how to add a photo when typing this for me on her phone - so no picture today. Sigh.
Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-21980094279414325422021-09-21T20:41:00.002-07:002021-09-21T20:41:47.096-07:00SF2021 Final Day
Today was the last day of SF2021 with NOTRA, oval racing. I haven't done this event in like 11yrs (because it is stupid ... it goes in a circle; I can tell you how to catch the bunny. Easy. Even easier than jumping the tape - you just cut behind the box to the finish. Been there, done that.). Today Phyn jumped the tape to get a leg up on faster dogs ....I never thought he was that clever. J was not impressed.

Anyway - shocker, not - lots of Allagante race wins. Siena edged out her daughter Chyna for the NOTRA WIN. This also gave Siena the Triathlon win (Coformation, Lure Coursing, & EITHER straight or oval racing); Chyna won Iron Hound (LC plus BOTH types of racing).

A nice plus for J was that The Possum WON Pentathlon! Its a shocker because he's a bit of a dope; I couldn't believe he got qualifying scores in rally (even earned a Rally-O title that day). He's also not SUPER fast - but his #1 conformation placement by the judge definitely helped.

That's all folks. Then at the end of the day the Winner’s Bitch competes against yesterday’s Winners Dog as well as against hounds who are already Champions for Best of Breed. Thank goodness Hillary Tregillus keeps posting catalog pics because there are tons of classes leading up to the finales.

I didn’t win Best of Altereds. Fine. Actually it was Chris Buhrdorf’s Apache; he’s a Firebird, like me, so that’s OK.

Tammy Mills’Truly won Best of Breed, which is pretty cool. She’s Possum’s 2nd cousin or something - same grandsire. It’s all in the family.

Oh, I should probably add that Opa! got an Award of Merit & that Possum was ranked #1 in the show judges ranking for the Olympic combined prizes: Iron Hound, Triathlon, & Pentathlon. In that ranking Camper was maybe 5th, and Phyn 2nd to last (LOL). J is pretty happy about the Possum.

Banquet? How the fuck do I know? I don’t get to go to that, but the humans seem to have had fun. I do know that she presented the Bados Trophy to Sienna (AGAIN!). A box of gifts for helpers left with J, and then she returned with auction items she had won.

LGRA Racing? Briggs won over Chyna by a whisker. Conner managed High Score Veteran - that was cool, and our friend Dorkis won Turtle. Possum, Phyn, and Conner were like 9, 10, 11th? 10-12? Something like that. J is a rotten minion. I couldn’t get her to transcribe for me for 2 days & this will be short, too. Sure, she is busy — she’s co-director of Silkenfest: she was in charge of getting & setting out all of the prizes & awards, but I have fans to keep informed & entertain! It’s not like I can type on her I-Pad with paws. And she didn’t leave her IPad in my crate for me to try.

Enough whining. Results.

Thank goodness Hillary Tregillus posted the results on Facebook (pics from the catalog with results filled in). I can just refer you to that for Sweepstakes details. She probably did this to make sure everyone knew that her D-Artagnan had won Best Veteran. I’ve known him since he was a puppy; so that was cool.

Having won my age group, I lost Best Opposite Sex to Tootsie. It’s easy to lose to Tootsie. Most bitches usually do. I can cope with that.

Spec is an annoying puppy to live with, but he won Best Male Puppy in Sweeps. I don’t know how; he wouldn’t stop wiggling when J tried to stack him. No wonder he lost to Zoe for Best Puppy in Sweeps; she behaved herself & has cute face markings.

Enough about the Sweeps, Rally & Obedience didn’t have any results posted, I don’t think. I didn’t get all the details, but I think Baku won Best in Rally overall & my buddy, Khan (Opa’s twin brother) won Best in Obedience and Best Combined Rally & Obedience.

J fucked up Conner’s attempt at Rally - she completely botched a sign. Loser. He was doing so well, too. At least she got her act together & did it right for Camper & Possum. They managed qualifying scores. That earned Possum a URO1 Title to add to his registered name. And Camper: Camper WON his class. That’s a shocker as J just started training him for this a few months back & didn’t have much class time. Honestly, the human was on the verge of tears.

That’s all for now. Joy lousy typist can’t even figure out how to add pics from her iPad. She’ll work on that today.

Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-19387558520458486112021-09-14T15:04:00.001-07:002021-09-14T15:04:39.426-07:00

Well, today fucking sucked.

It started promising with J. going back & forth to the van; this usually means an excursion will be happening soon. Actually I know an excursion is happening soon: SILKENFEST! (it's been ages since this has happened). J has been planning & working on this for months & months. It's hard to believe that this is actually about to happen. That van is STUFFED by the way. This was also promising ... the more the van is stuffed, the more likely it is that more dogs (i.e. ME) will be going on the trip - not just the irritating youths who ALWAYS get to go running.

Anyway, back to my tale of woe. Again, the day started well. J even let me hang out in the van with her while she organized some things. A little private time with TLC is always nice. Who new things would turn sour ....?

Soon another van arrived .... confusing, but not too concerning as J. often travels with others ....

BUT NO! There was a TUB & grooming table, brushes, clippers, and a DREMELl! Even a hair dryer for dogs sake!

Oh, the horror .... a torture chamber on wheels.

Obviously a serious bath was in store.

Had I known I was going to have to bathe today in any event, I would have rolled on the rodent one of the others killed & brought into the house yesterday.

(J won't let me attach the photo. The baby; it was a clean kill - no blood).

Well, now I am bathed & look like a shiny puff ball. And this wasn't just me - ALL the Silkens got bathed & fluffed. Even little Spec, who at 9 months old, doesn't have much fur to fluff.

Looks like we will all be heading for SILKENFEST soon.

Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-54273881571829920612019-06-16T16:46:00.001-07:002019-06-16T20:01:58.178-07:00This is it.Well, I missed a few days blogging before this final report on the Silkenfest journey for a variety of reasons. (1) J is weak & gets fumble fingers & thumbs when sleepy; sadly, I do still need her to type. And (2) again J’s limitations, after arriving home last night, she had to get 2 of the Greyhounds ready for an AKC hound show today.

All that effort & the AKC judges were no more impressed with Wicka & her pups than usual; they are just so much ‘less’ than the show-bred hounds: less, size, less chest, less angulation .... but much faster. It makes me appreciate even more all the combined show/performance trophies that are offered at Silkenfest. Several other judges did come and speak with J later about specific conformation differences between racing Greys & Show Greys - and specific concerns .... but then they started asking people about eye shape/color and ears. J had nothing to add.

My biggest impression since arriving home is how BIG that Little Bit, Phyn, has gotten ... he’s almost my height but not yet 5 months old. And he’s still as irritating as I remember.
Now our journey is paused in Nebraska for a thunderstorm that threatened to blow us off the Interstate; the humans had hoped to drive more hours but may sleep here instead. Nebraska was where weather made us stop on the way east. I am disliking Nebraska.
Sadly there is nothing more to say. Goodnight, fans.Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-85034502121626114192019-06-12T04:18:00.002-07:002019-06-12T04:18:15.191-07:00Silkenfest 2019 comes to a close.Well, yesterday was NOTRA oval racing and the close of Silkenfest. At least the weather was nice - mildly warm with lots of sunshine & a breeze. It was very pleasant - i’m struggling to find come up with snarky comments.

As I’ve said, I decline to run in circles - stupid, if catching the lure is your goal. - but lots of hounds seemed to enjoy it. One smart girl, Mouse, realized it was stupid, too, and decided to call it a day. She didn’t even bother short cutting to the finish line. She ducked under the tape to shortcut back to her pack by their van.

One of my travel pack, Khan, won the Turtle Award, but he had done just enough better in some of the other events that he managed to beat Conner for that Pentathlon Award. I guess I can’t deny he’s well-rounded.

Sienna, of course, won the meet and those other combined trophies - Iron Hound & Triathlon. Speedy little bitch.

Today we’ll start the trip west. Boring. Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089468661091372251.post-72182705440535646372019-06-11T04:22:00.002-07:002019-06-11T04:22:20.102-07:00A Day Late & a LGRA ShortBitch. We headed off yesterday morning for the van for the LGRA straight racing, but at the last minute J locked Opa! & I in Keith’s RV with Sonnet, Celeste, & Harley. Bitch.

On the other hand, It POURED most of the day. Conner, Possum, & Khan were SOAKED when they returned as were the humans). Perhaps it’s just as well I didn’t have to go get wet & sit in the van, but since I didn’t get to go I am not in the mood to post results - I will say that Sienna won (shocker ... not) and that neither Khan, Conner, or Possum brought home a single prize - not even turtle.

After they got back, j took Opa! & I to romp on the tennis court (the rain had stopped). Nice, but not nice enough. In further compensation she did take me to the ‘beach party’ which had been moved indoors due to the weather. This did give some of my fans an opportunity to pet me & provide tummy rubs.

Today is NOTRA Oval racing - where stupid dogs run in circles & dogs smart enough to short cut are discriminated against & not allowed to play. Obviously, I won’t be running.Gitahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00613963243125100146noreply@blogger.com0
